5. Member Accounts

The Chamber is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from weak passwords, credential sharing, or user negligence.

6. User Generated Content

Members may upload, submit, or edit content including company information, text, images, logos, links, and event-related content.

By submitting content, users confirm that they own or have the necessary rights to the content, that the content does not infringe third-party rights, and that the content is lawful, accurate, and not misleading.

Users must not upload malicious software, spam, unlawful material, offensive content, or content that may damage the website, the Chamber, or other users.

The Chamber reserves the right to remove or modify any content without notice if it is deemed inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, offensive, or harmful.

7. Event Registrations

The platform allows guests and members to register for events.

Some events may be free of charge, require payment, offer discounted pricing for members, or have limited availability.

By registering for an event, users confirm that the registration information provided is accurate and that any payment obligations must be fulfilled where applicable.

The Chamber reserves the right to modify event details, change schedules, cancel events, or refuse participation where necessary.

8. Payments and Billing

Invoices, payment requests, and subscriptions may be issued electronically.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of membership, removal from events, or restriction of access to member services.

The Chamber reserves the right to use collection procedures permitted under applicable law in cases of unpaid invoices or fraudulent activity.

9. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event or service, membership fees are non-refundable and event tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

Refund requests may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the Chamber’s discretion.

If an event is cancelled by the Chamber, affected participants may be offered a refund, credit toward another event, or an alternative solution.

10. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use the platform for unlawful purposes, upload harmful software, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform functionality, harass or impersonate others, publish false information, or use automated scraping or data extraction tools without permission.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, designs, logos, text, graphics, and platform functionality are owned by or licensed to the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit website materials without prior written permission.
