Barcelona has always been a natural home for Danish business. Its commercial energy, European connectivity, and quality of life have drawn Danish companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals for decades. Yet for a long time, this community had no real home of its own.
In 2012, a group of Danish-connected businesses decided to change that. On September 30th, the Danish Business Circle of Barcelona was formally founded — a non-profit association registered in Barcelona, created to give companies with Danish roots, markets, or ambitions a shared platform to connect, collaborate, and represent their interests.
What began as a circle has grown into a chamber. In 2025, we relaunched as the Danish Business Chamber of Barcelona, reflecting both the maturity of the organisation and our ambition for what comes next.
The Members’ Meeting is the Chamber’s highest governing body — the moment when our entire membership comes together to shape the direction of the organisation.
Held every two years, it is where the Board of Directors presents its management report, accounts, and budget for member approval. It is also where new Board members are elected, ensuring the Chamber remains led by and accountable to the people it serves.
Supports key initiatives while gaining strong visibility and access to a high-level professional network.
Collaborates with the network to create value through connections, visibility, and shared opportunities.
Designed for professionals seeking to expand their network, gain insights, and build valuable relationships.
