History

Organization of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona

In the city of Barcelona and its surroundings there are many companies with Danish roots, markets or links, but until the existence of the Chamber there was no real business forum where these companies could share experiences, network, organize or co-organize events and represent these interests in the bodies, public administrations and other chamber forums.

On September 30, 2012, the Danish Business Circle of Barcelona (now renamed the Danish Business Chamber of Barcelona) was founded as a non-profit business association, with its statutes and registration in the Barcelona association register, in order to cover the need for a common link for these companies related to Denmark and Barcelona.

Members' meeting

This is a meeting of all members, convened every two years, to review, oversee, and approve the Board of Directors’ management. The annual budget and accounts are also presented at this meeting for approval.

Finally, the appointment of the new members of the Board of Directors is carried out, if applicable.
